Yes the bypass is just a blanking plug that comes with the box. You can disconnect the cables from the box and plug the blanking plug in and you're back to standard.

Hi Andrew are there any map updates to the 177 boxes? I had to plug in the bypass connector the other night as my car went into limp home mode just as I overtook a bus on the Dual carriageway ;-) I was only doing 50/60 mph at the time. The engine management light came on then it lost power...

I've had great service from Audi Dundee so far and have no complaints. They seem professional and always go over the work they have done. They always clean and hoover the car even the other week when it was in for a minor issue and it was absolutely ******* down the car came back gleaming.

Think they are standard on the Avant but an option on the saloon. I noticed on another post a guy just had his new black edition saloon delivered and it didn't have the tints.

I have an Avant black edition in phantom black and it looks great and relatively easy to keep clean. I opted for the black over the white but I see a white one on my way to work and it looks great as well and I sometimes wish I'd went with white. You won't be disappointed which ever one you choose

Silly speeds to me are in 3 figures....I was testing my DTUK box on a private road last week and I was pretty impressed with performance from 40-120 in 6th gear. Acceleration from 50-100 is good. Things slow down after 120 at 3500rpm but eventually reached an indicated 145 before I got bored...

Each to there own...my 177/217 is fast enough for me but Im definitely going to consider the 3ltr next time. I'm not interested in 0-60 times or racing Bmw's II expect the petrol boys will be along shortly telling us all diesels are **** ;-)
