Had a5 alloys on my old 8p,only needed to change the bore as its a 66.6 instead of the 57.1.
you will need spigot rings off ebay for under a tenner.Make sure that your tyre profile will allow the wheel to turn without rubbing.
had to raise my coil overs slightly to accommodate it.
Does anyone know if I can fit these bi colour onto my A3,they are 17 s off an A1,I would be getting adapters from 5x112 to 5x100.I am not sure what mm size I need.
3 days before Christmas I sold my 140 2.0 Tdi 3 door ,which was running on 176K.Ran like a freight train and I always changed oil and filters at 6-8k miles.
So at 99k I would not by any stretch of imagination fret too much,it has just been broken in.
However water pump and cam belt of...
No cranking the engine will make the pump and filter self prime.Against all odds ,if it ever fails to start, take off one end of any turbo pipe going into the manifold and squirt WD40 or engine start and it sure starts it all the time.
Front end conversions are getting cheaper. Its too much effort for poor results.I would go with buying the front end separate.I will work out cheaper.I have done a few of these conversions.
Get a second hand one buddy or a cheapie off fleabay .I bought one for £150 and has worked out fine without issues. Easy to replace with the right tools.
Quite agree with smurfworth. Sounds like your tyres are the culprit. the camber and tyre width can change the way your car handles. I have APs on my A3 8P and run KW Inox 1 on my Bora. TBH I prefer the AP ride as compared to the KWs even though they are well rated. I find them stiffer than the APs.
