Yeah mine seems to be between 2.5k and 3k. It does seem to coincide with the car coming on boost. I think I notice it more because I drive my wifes 1.4 TFSI which seems to boost alot smoother but guessing that could be down to a much smaller turbo?

Ok, is there any easy way of checking this? The car was purchased from a main dealer so should they have updated the ECU as part of their preperations?
