Would anyone happen to to have a new set of Pagid rs pads for the last version of the hp2 twin pot calipers found on the s4 and others up until 2000.
I've read they were a good pad but pagid no longer sell them because the demand was no longer there.
Have a look at your fuel trims before clearing the codes, that will tell you if that breather hose is effecting anything. It should be out of wack because you will be pulling in unmetered air via that breather pipe leading to the TIP.
Yes vac leaks can play havoc on idle issues and trims.
Are you sure that is a vac line, looks like the breather T from the the rocker cover to crankcase? I may be wrong, get it fixed anyway and see how it pans out.
Reading over this thread( sorry I've been stuck sending pm's) I really think it is your tune. Don't bother getting to the bottom of the rear o2 codes as that is most certainly the tune, they have not been deleted correct when you swapped your ecu over.

For those of you who are aware of the different tensioner pulley setup on the A4 a question?
can anyone see any reason why I could not change over to the a3/tt tensioner and pulley on my A4 as i would prefer this system as it's much simpler than the A4 setting with 8mm drill bit and locking it...
Just thinking you could have a weeping injector, take the fuel rail out with everything connected after say a 20min heat soak and a hard run before hand and look for any signs of slightly leaking injector. done not overlook this one!
no did not get back to this yet as it has not happened again due to the weather not being warm enough here yet!

I had actually read your post a few days ago, given the chance i will do that, little more stripping to be done to get at the convience control unit in the b6/b7. when i do im going to check out the wires going out to the aerial connection in the boot water ingress coult be an issue here.

Im trying to help a friend solve his remote central locking not working problem. he came out of the shop one day to the car and remote just stopped working! i've tried to reprogram the remotes on both his keys to no avail. trust me ive tried everything, followed every possible VCDS instruction...
Looking really well, I have my eye on one of these for the future. Have you considered the pulley upgrage with the remap, this thing comes alive with that mod.looking at videos, it would be well worth it.
The starting issue that I had was a slightly leaking injector, I did have mine tested twice and they said they were fine. But when the engine was warmed up and left sitting for any more than 10min it would have an extended crank before actually firing up.
