Oh right I understand now, well I shall be getting the 1.8 ss tbh, to me petrols seem more fun and also I like the sound of a 7.2k redline, doubt I'll even use it that much but I know it's there when I want it to be ;)

oh, if you dont mind me asking, have they been like diesel related repairs or just general ones? just trying to work out whether i am making the right decision with the 1.8, id rather have a petrol but id just like to make sure

so what car have you got? and going from what everyone has said, the 1.8 is the ones that seems to stand out to me and awh no i havent got any points, i want it to stay that way :)

yeah i do understand what your saying, id only mod it over time, i wouldnt do it straight away, so the 1.8 would be fast enough and still have decent fuel economy as a starting point and i can build up to something like an S3 when im older and when i can afford it :)

its not the car i wont be able to afford, its the running costs atm, over time i could just not straight away, it would be something i worked up too, like that conversion system ive just put a link up to, if that was possible with a 1.8, id wait until i could afford to do that and i would.
