  • Hi mate, how's the Chinafold? I saw you were Mani' #3, I was Mani' #2... After driving it a bit longer do you still find it superior to the V4? I know it's more reliable of course, hence why we all went down that route but does power still seem just as good or improved? I noticed you said the sound is better. I noticed the same. Lovely deep tone. Supposed to flow very well too so I bet it's great for EGT's...

    Hello mate, so far so good. It was a pain to get the V4 off and the chnafold on with the head still on, but I didnt want to open the engine up as its been sound since it was rebuilt.
    Bum dyno suggests its just as quick as when the pro4 was fitted, and sounds mental under full throttle. Soo deep and growls when your going for it. Maybe its something to do with the flow? I dont know.

    The A10 bolts and Nordlock washers are keeping the manifold and turbo together just fine with no gasket.
    you must use a thermostatic plate, otherwise the oil will be overcooled and never reach the correct operating temp!
