    TT or S3?

I know exactly how you feel, I went out 9 months ago to buy a TT 225, drove 3 or 4 and found them really bland and boring :sorry: So i tried a stock s3 225 and it just felt so much better. Anyway to cut a long story short at the time i ended up buying a modified S3 and i love it. However with...

    Vredestein tyres

Awesome news, i have been hunting for a place to get these at a good price to go on my S3 but have been failing till now. Nice to hear about another S3 running these tyres and praising them. I live in Tadley, down the bottom of the hill by the swimming pool.

    ECU Swap - Audi S3

Thanks for the info on vag-tacho, i will search when i get home. Is the skc the long code that came from audi in a little plastic case? If so then i have that for the old car /ecu. I dont know if we have one for the new car, i would expect so.

    Bits to do,

I had the front wishbone bushes replaced on my S3 the other week, parts where like £9 each and then cost me 2 hours labour to have them pressed in.

    ECU Swap - Audi S3

I am swapping the whole blue/black interier from the old car into the new one as the newer car has scruffy white/black at the moment, along with all the silcone (sp?) engine piping, ecu, full stainless sytem, 4pot brake conversion, wheels, spacers, bose system and cd changer, so i could do the...

    ECU Swap - Audi S3

Thanks for the updates, The one i am swapping it with isnt mine so i cant sell it to make money. Basicly I am building a high spec every day car from the best bits of both current cars, then the other guy is building a drag car from the spare shell and selling the spare 1.8t and s3 parts...

    ECU Swap - Audi S3

I currently have a 1999 Audi S3 210 pre-facelift car, its got a really nice remap and lots of bolt on's. (Big brake converion, full stainless system, high flow cats, silicon pipes, forge dv, etc etc) I have got my hands on a 2000 S3 210 in much better condition with all the factory optional...

How often do you change your oil?

I change mine every 5k or so. However i can tell the oil is shot after about 3k, the power drops off at the top end and the car feels more sluggish. Im running a remapped Audi S3 by the way.

    Potential S3 Owner

best dump valve for a 1999 audi a3 quattro

As said by Damian and others you dont want a 'Dump Valve' as such, the Vag 1.8 turbo engine uses a recirculating air system, this means that the air that would be dumped has allready been measured and accounted for by the ecu. You need to fit a recirculating diverter valve, this way the engine...

    Potential S3 Owner

I had a 220bhp VW corrado before i got the S3, and i have never looked back, the only thing i miss is the driving possition and the fact that everyone looked at the corrado as it was different. The s3 is just so much more planted and useable as an car to drive fast, but at the same time you...

    New Member - Audi S3

Sorry the brakes had allready been done when i got the car. Thanks, thats the way i want to keep it. I love the fact i can pull up at lights and nobody takes any notice of it unless I want them too, but at the same time it has the balls to give most things a run for there money. Got a few...
