i have seen 115bhp GTIs with the red I and silver and red I on the earlier 150bhp GTIs

Can anyone tell me what the difference is between the GTI badges, when one has GTI wrote in silver and the other has a red I instead of silver.

once u have washed the car use an interior (dashboard) cleaner to bring out the original colour with a polishing cloth. ps dont use a cheap one with a fragrance, use a good make, even one from main dealers.

you might say that the seats r better in ur a3 (se) but in the golg gti turbo, u get recaros which r great. RE:cup holders are also good as u grt them in the back aswell,and the lights for the speed dials and stereo r better in the golf.

its a 51 plate, 7,000 miles on the clock, i was thinking i could pick it up for £8,000, has a full audi report from when it was repaired

i am not that familar with the materials used on the panels, but the car was repaired at an audi workshop and he has all the receipts to show. so this car has been replaced with all orginal audi parts (as stated on receipt) not cheap parts.

it had an engineers report done and has been on the road for the last 8 months, you have not got an idea of the price of these cat d cars?

i am thinking of selling my w reg golf gti 1.8 turbo, its 3 door, black, full vw service history, has done 74,000 miles has extras such as climate control (cliamtronic, not the knobs) and a spoiler,bleu/black recaros, the car is mint condition has 1 previous owner, never given me any problems...

because its cat d or because its been put into a new shell?

i dont know what the owner has done, but all engine numbers and vin numbers have been changed with dvla and nothing but cat d has come up on the hpi check
