IIRC the Audi factory tint is 90%. (lets 10% light through) I'm current in a mk7 GTD that has 65% standard tint - 90% tint being a factory option which is identical to Audi's privacy glass. I would definitely go with 90% on daytona.

If you cant get in contact with the dealer, I would take delivery of the car and look up a local tinting company with good rep then get it booked in. The dealer would just sub it out to a local company anyway and put a small mark up on. I think the Audi privacy is 90%, have a look at mk7...

Pardon my ignorance Dave, but what would the difference in a FL version of the 184 TDI 6 speed S-tronic quattro be to the one you already drive? I thought the FL is just cosmetics? Obviously the TFSI 190 is a different engine.

For £2,500 the V-spoke wheels will most probably come with mag ride. This is what they do on the Golf GTI CS, you can't select the 19" Pretoria wheels without DCC (same as mag ride?) and cost is £2,480. On the Golf R the Pretoria without DCC are £900.

I've not heard that one before. The exact refrigerant amount is charged into the system by weight, you cant just 'top up' a system like most people think. If you are short of gas you don't know how much you are short by unless you recover it out and weight it. So if they didn't fill the system...

The refrigerant isn't the lubricant, there is also PAG oil in the system. A low pressure fault will switch the system off to prevent the compressor from overheating, the refrigerant is also used to cool the compressor.

They will be detuned for the higher ambient temperatures or different quality of fuel, same as the Golf R in South Africa which is detuned to around 275hp IIRC...
