Had the same in my A3, went to local windscreen place and they gave me a few pads, told me wot to do, and it stayed on till i sold it..

Did u do the callipers as well? did u have to remove them? did u spray or use brush?

Joined the other forum and wow love the CF.. Here is pic of my Triumph All hamd made and pre preg... I would have all CF in the car as well... Just need a complete set to mould from... I guess ebay..

I sell Carbon Fibre for motorbikes, and as such have a fetish.. I looked inside a S4 and saw CF trim... Said to saleman i NEED that on my car, cant have it... S4 only !! So has anyone covered there trim?? Or can u buy repalcement ones in CF?? As i'm not a lover of the 3M cover, still looks...

I'm a biker and quite a few bits on my bikes are powder coated... £35 for an hour of coating, so the discs would cost that or less, if u had more bits to do.. I dont use one of the wheel places as they are expensive.. Engineering companies are good.. I use green silicon tape to stop the powder...

Wot about Poweder coat?? Or would the heat buckle the disc's ???

Seems a bad design to me, u have a stunning new car and then rust and it looks crap... If i was doing like u, would i need to remove the disc's ? Is that easy?
