    same thing happend to my a3 but didnt have the coolant light flashing, changed the temp sensor and it fixed the problem

    how do i remove the loom from the airbag? theres two little yellow bits on top that pop up a lil but its still not relasing the loom and i dont want to break anything thanks

    i got two flat bottom steering wheels both with the round airbags, one with dsg and multifunction (airbag old style) and one which is just flat bottom with no controls or paddles (new style airbag chrome circe) so i wanna swap the airbags over so the new style airbag is on the multifunction...

    one airbag is the old style (loom for airbag and steering wheel controls) and the other is the new style with the chrome ring (loom only for airbag) if that makes sence

    Does anyone know how to remove the wiring loom from the airbag? and if i swap the loom from a airbag that come from a steering wheel with controls to a airbag that come with a steering wheel that didnt have controls, would that work (e.g controls)? thanks

    its a srtaight swap but you will get a bulb failure light on the dash, which can be turned off with vagcom

    i thought it would be a straight swap but the airbag plug is very slightly different when i checked so im thinking i need a new slip ring next car is deff another audi

    i got a 04 plate and i managed to get hold of a fbmfsw with airbag i understand i need new slip ring and control module, does anyone know they best place to get these from? or does anyone have any for sale? im not too bothered if the steering wheel controls dont work as i got a after market...

    if there just xenons they are plug and play but you will get a bulb failure light on the dash
