I have read many posts discussing how electronic engine tuning can be concealed from Audi, in order to ensure warranty claims are successful. Clearly the only motive to hide these modifications, is when the tuning itself causes a failure the regretful owner now hopes they can blame on someone...

Me too, mine’s never appeared red! I have HHA and it illuminates green either if I apply the handbrake manually or let the HHA do the work.

Maybe the answer is in your question, I thought the “green parking brake symbol” indicates that the parking brake is set. The parking brake can be applied manually or automatically if you have this option

Another point worth considering... the v6 diesel is a heavy lump compared to the 4 pot petrol. On balance I prefer the immense lazy torque of my 272 but having driven the lighter engined version the effect on handling is noticable

Even odder they did the oil and filter and charged me £80 for the pleasure.
