I had a similar issue when I went from 17's to 18's, I removed one of the screws from the arch lining and found the tyre had been rubbing on that, never had a problem since and I'm fully wound down on coilovers, just a thought.
Turbo technics I got mine from, no running issues, still on standard internals and IC, I've had a milder map put on mine though just for peace of mind as its my daily, but still approx. 220bhp and plenty of torque!

Well I have a split grill model I'm pretty sure same applies for the single grill as well though, it pops out with clips all the way around, it's very easy to break these though so be careful! I used a small flathead and gently popped each one out
Quite a few people use plasti-dip, very easy to apply and has a great finish, this is the only photo I've got of mine
And yeah a 25mm bung is the right size, just make sure you block of the fluid pipe!
