shabba007 - Your description is exactly the same as the problem I had. Mine is 56 plate (feb 07) a4 3.2 Presumably you noticed plenty of fluid in the pump reservoir? Did you manage to get the spindle (if that's the right word) really cleaned up? I found it tough until I wrapped some sandpaper...
