    Thank you for your reply, I didn't know there is a B5 section and I dont know how to find it. Just didn't want to buy it, take the rear end apart to find that the mountings are different.

    Hi All, New to this site hoping someone can answer a question for me please. I have a 2000 A4 avant looking to fit a towbar, I have been offered a towbar from a B5 saloon. the seller tells me that it will fit the estate but i'm not so sure. Does any know for sure? Thanks Richard.
