I've had 2 B9 R
I have had 2 RS4's and driven others. 03/18 and 09/19 now sadly sold for more than I paid for it after 2 years motoring! I have never come across the lighting up red paddles you mention.
I've had a PFL RS3 and an FL S3 (with Mag ride, SSS and 19in). Much prefer the 'vanilla nature of PFL but Tech on FL is better. As for retained value... given either purchase will be second hand the buying price will be key. Sold my 2016 PFL for £32k in 2018 and they still seem to be fetching...
Edition 1 and Vorsprung have SLine Badges on the side and may show up as SLine in V5 which could impact on used value with non-Audi types as we found when trying to sell our 4 month old Vorsprung Sportback last year. WBAC showed car as SLine and priced accordingly, fortunately Audi dealer sold...
I am aware it’s in the general section. As far as I’m aware I have never hurled personal insults at anyone on here. If I have I apologise unreservedly. We are all entitled to our opinions on cars, politics, Brexit etc. It is very easy to offend people if well informed and researched opinion...
More rudeness... I was just asking why non Audi fan boys ( I think Luvvie is the politer gender neutral term) are playing on here. Don’t Seat, MB, BMW have similar Forums. please read the post before attacking!
PS. I don’t own a Porsche. 2 Audis..
Just an observation... Audi Forum seems to be attracting a lot of discussion, even threads from BMW, M-B and Seat luvvies, ( and dare I say Porsche) do they not have their own forums or am I missing something?

Oh dear... there’s no need for that attitude surely.
I am indeed a trained negotiator BTW and generally rely on evidence and facts when posting. Far better than being aggressive and nasty.
i understand all that, but as a trained negotiator I think screwing as much as possible is a speciality. I always check several sources before doing a deal and 2 free services is a given. Of course there will be a few £s flexibility but I doubt many do better than me. Although that sounds rather...
think you need to re-read my post. I have never ever paid full rrp on a new car and get free services on top. I have a good relationship with my dealer!
You clearly need some negotiating skills training. Services are always part of the deal on a new car, in fact x2 free on a used one! How much does it cost on an M-B? It’s bound to be expensive polishing up all that bling ;-)
I had a no blame claim in Oct 2019. Wasn’t even in car! Third party insurer paid in full. Admiral insurance was £673 without declaring claim £834 when declared.
