Your previous post suggests you get 300miles out of the tank so that's not bad. The extra power through your car must result in lower MPGs so my bog standard S3 should do alright. Your analogy is spot on... that must give much sportier cars a real surprise :icon_thumright:

Boydie's question begs another one. Which RON do you run on and does it make a difference to your mpg? Currently I'm mixing the tanks a bit as 97/98ron makes the wallet feel empty :)

The membership card is a great idea as it's out of sight but pretty convenient. I've put car park tickets into it for the trip between the ticket machine and the parking space. The coin drawer looks cool but I'm sure it's actually a waste of space... still it does make people laugh when you...

My car is the standard S3 with S-tronic gearbox. My DIS shows 27mpg since the last reset which puts me into the 250-300 range. For a quattro with 261bhp that can do 0-62 in 5.5seconds I think this is fairly amazing. Of course, you can put your foot down and see <10mpg easily :-)
