    I had a 1.9TDI was getting 61MPG door to door and best on M/way 81 MPG not going faster then 50 MPH how have a3 1.6 tdi best I can get is 48 to 50 MPG realy rubbish audi say should get 68 MPG

    I have just changed from a 1.9 TDI A3 2009 model I was getting 61 MPG door to door driving easy, and 80 MPG on m/way drive not going over 50MPH to a 1.6 TDI 2011 model Door to door is now 48 to 50 M/way drive 54 tops which is rubbish When I bought the car the previous owner had put Sport wheels...

    Air vents smelly particularly after turning air con off.

    I Had this problem I was told to put air con on and turn heating on full when engine temp is @ max for about ten minutes this will kill any bugs in the system as the bugs will be killed @ temps over 82C. I did this a couple of times and it worked for me. no cost!!
