My check engine light has been on for a week or two and I haven't had time to get it hooked up to a Vag tool to read the codes. I don't have one, so I had to go to a shop. These are the codes I got.

Thats pretty much the same story with me. It was running higher when it was warmer and wasn't moving at all. Now that its so cold, it runs cooler. Is it possible its just because of the air temp?

Well if the problem didn't come up until after you were messing around behind there i'd say there was a good chance you knocked something loose. Just take a look, if you were back there before just look around for anything that looks to be obviously disconnected. Hope for the best man.
If you get those seats from eBay (assuming the have those seats have the heating element in them) Im sure you can go to a junk yark and grab two of the OEM heat knobs plus the wiring to make it look factory.
I think its a pretty common problem for them to break.. here is a article on how to replace the headlight washers on an S4. It gives you details on how to remove the whole tank. Hope it helps
