My A3 Cab is best car I have ever owned

I I got that when I was doing the same a couple of days ago. i.e.roof down, cabriolet iPhone 6 plus AMI 60 MPH connected directly, Apple Music Downloads, sounded like large electrical discharges, or large rain drops hitting the screen.

With my previous A3 the MMI system switched itself off and then came back on again two or three times in a week and then was ok for the next 10 months till I sold it. With my new one all has been ok until two days ago when the Nav came up with an error at start, message was something along lines...

It is good that it automatically transfers when you park the car and switch engine off!!

I would be interested to know. I wonder if it is the same as tyres. They have a number of accredited suppliers and switch randomly between them?? Ie Shell, Castrol etc.

I agree. I use it in similar circumstances. Another one is when driving in Sheffield which is extremely hilly.

having visited the factory I would be very surprised if it was not finished within a day... But I am not an expert. I have never had that code. It has always been Check point 8 Production completed. Would be interested to know
