Lol,02 plate 2.5 tdi sport fwd definately 312mm as just replaced them with brembo discs & jurid pads find they work very well.Will throw some braided lines on & some dot 5 in just because the car has turned over 118,000

Cheers QJ,if it was just me driving the car wouldn't be too fussed about an airbag tbh but the girlfriend uses it as well so not an option. Do you know of anyone in Dorset area it might be worth speaking to further as I'm in Weymouth area?

So purchased a multi function wheel from a later car which I have subsequently found out uses a two stage airbag which is obviously different to our single stage jobs! Done a bit of research & thought it was simply a case of different slip ring & module but am being told this is not the case...

As title says,wondering if anyone has experience of FK headlights & has an opinion on the quality? looking to change up the front of the Avant but am a bit wary of the quality of some of the aftermarket items.

Hello guys,have a 2.5 tdi avant on an 02,just turned over 113k & have been wondering if the mounts were showing signs of wear. have part no for snub mount was hoping someone would know the no for the hydro electric mount & if they are prone to the odd failure? any input gratefully received.

JBS did a custom code remap on my 2.5,very happy with it pulls much stronger & wakes up at about 1500rpm rather than 2000. Not sure where they are located but they a company listed on this site,last time I looked they were doing 30% off.

x3 would also replace the thermostat whilst your in there,bought my car a few months back with belts & pump all been done very recently only to have the stat go a month ago with it being (yes you've guessed it) in behind the pulleys:applaus::keule::sob:

Got em off ebay for £720 with brand new Kumho Ecsta's fitted,was very happy with that. Had to space the fronts out 6mm to avoid the suspension & am running 15mm spacers on the back to get em sitting how I want. Tyres are 235/35 only had the very faintest whisper of rubbing once loaded 4 up at...

They are the A6 s-lines 9x19,company that manufactures them is Speedline. I believe BBS manufacture some identical wheels only difference being they are 8.5x19 & I think they are found on the phase 2 TT's. Would not argue if someone said otherwise as this info is just some small bits I've pieced...

Am running KW v1's on mine,I know they are more than the stated budget but they give an absolutely fantastic ride an well worth the extra expense. There is nothing worse than crashing jarring ride. A slightly cheaper option that would still give a quality ride would Weitec Hicon GT's.

Can highly recommend www.mytyres had about 5 sets of tyres from them always good service/del time.:icon_thumright:

I would be interested in this.Only have standard setup but would be nice to have a base line figure & also check out others setups & get their opinions. Am based in South Dorset so a south west location would be cool.
