I am worried i may have f**ked the turbo as i had to drive the car about 7 miles to the garage. I did not exceed 30mph nor did i hear/see any smoke...
Can i assume the only way i am going to know is when i get it back?

HI all i have been reading the thread when this morning my 1.8t Audi TT had the dreaded 3 beeps and the red oil warning light appear. You can tell there is no oil going round the engine as it wounds very tappy. (tractor like).
My local garage have said it is the oil pump but have only qouted me...
:rockwoot:Done it, The problem is now sorted, The Coolant temp sensor was responsible for not only the idel speed being off and the throttle stick but i also have had a problem with the high speed fan and its sorted that too.
Before i disconnected the fan it would stay on for a second or two...
