I got 6-speed. Not exactly sure what the problem is, most likely that casing is cracked, so we'll have to see. I will keep all options open. The problem isn't getting it fixed, it's the labour costs, ridiculous! I should've become a mechanic! Cheers though!

Hi, My gearbox needs taking down, stripped and silicone needs to be reapplied...however, won't know extent of further damage (if any) until gearbox is down. Mechanic can't see no cracks, but he's charging £580 for labour and approx. £60 for oil and silicone seal. With VAT, I'm looking at £720...

No mate, my mechanic wasn't sure, just mentioned that it was a sealant type unit (which I wasn't aware of) and couldn't see where the exact point of leak was...

Hi, I got an oil leak and it's coming from the gearbox area...it's becoming more frequent over the few weeks and my driveway is looking patchy!!...has anybody else experienced this? :( Can anybody offer advice what the repair will involve? Cheers people! P.

Agree, the remap would've taken your car to somewhere between 200-210bhp... I've changed my suspension (coilovers), only because I wanted a lower look and better handling. The OEM suspension is actually quite good. Be wary though, changing suspension can be costly, you'll have to consider...

The picture looks like a Kahn Design picture...Wouldn't be surprised if it's one of theirs...guaranteed those rims are costly! Good luck finding them! Just email or ring the company...
