I'm inclining that way. Does anyone know if the other headlight options would have been significantly cheaper to replace? I would have thought twice about speccing them had I been aware of this.
Hi,
got a cracked headlight lens on my A3 (LED) and just got a quote from my Audi dealer for replacement:
Headlight - £1241.57
Labour(2hrs) - £285.60
Total - £1527.17
which is a lot. Has anyone had a similar experience and can recommend a breakers where I can get the part and then have a garage...
Just filled up the tank on a 2.0 TDI and noticed that the estimated range is 385 miles. That seems pretty low after having brimmed it - is the range pegged at this as an upper number?
I infrequently have to transport our dog and, having just picked up a new A3 want to keep him and us safe and the car clean (I'm hoping the air-con will cope with the flatulence). Any recommendations on liners/guards for the 8v sportback?
A3 Manual - picked up yesterday so not pushed it yet to determine the spread of gears. Never really considered an auto - old habits etc plus on the times I've driven an auto I've always scared myself thumping on the brake pedal thinking it was the clutch
I can see how this could happen. I had booked a test drive for Feb 28 - in hindsight not a great date given the March 1st madness but they gladly took the booking. I turned up - the rep had forgotten and after sitting around for a bit another rep came out and we went out in a 3 door (I had spent...

Nice spec - I'm with you on the gadgets. I'm veering toward a 2.0 but I would get more use out of fiddling with stuff while stuck in traffic than more poke on the rare bit of clear road
Love the new integrated display in the forthcoming TT

Does anyone think it might carry over to the refresh of the A3 later this year?
Have no knowledge of this area but surely the stiffness of a car is something that could be more usefully expressed in figures (than say the seemingly arbitrary mpg) so for example if my golf was say 1.5 I could tell if something were stiffer or softer by the values relating to them?
Meant Xenons not halogens
Not wanting a firmer car per se but understand that the usual moan about Audis is the firmness of the ride. Will need to take a test drive to determine how it relates to my own experience - as someone mentioned I shall run it over cats eyes. I think I'd go for the...
