Ah thats good. The bolts came out alright on mine. Depends if the last person who put them in put grease on the threads! I got a 7mm allen key on a 3/8" inch socket drive which helps.

I picked up some Audi ones on ebay for about £50. Thule has a good repulation tho if your buying new.

Try Eurocarparts, just done my front pads and disks for about £60. I'm pretty sure that was with Pagid stuff. Its very easy to do yourself. You'll need a 7mm allen key for the caliper slider bolts, which you don't always get on a standard set and a brake re-wind tool. It took me about 15mins...

Any idea if springs for a b7 2.0tdi would fit by b6 1.9tdi?

Hi. I need a 12v feed from the headlight switch which is live when the lights are on, this is for the illumination wire on an aftermarket headunit. Does anyone have a Haynes manual or knowledge of what colour a suitable wire is?

Sorted this out. I've just switched the Yellow and Red wires on the HU. Memory now works too. :)

Thanks I didn't realise Sport and S-line where different. Which of the two is considered the better? Also is the suspension differnt of TDI's and Petrols, and different engine sizes?

How much does the s-line sport suspension lower the A4 B6 by compared to the standard SE suspension. Are both the springs and shocks differnt or just the springs. Neil

One thing I have done which could be something to do with it. I had a parrot Kit connect to the factory head unit. I'll pulled that all out. I need a switch live for the new HU, and found someone had put a switched live so connected into the new HU. I've got no idea where that feed is coming from.

No its an old Alpine, I'll try connecting the pioneer I have and see if it does it. No Bluetooth in the car as far as I'm aware.

The chime is defiantly coming from the instrument cluster!
