Try posting in the audio forum. You dont need to rewire anything. It will work from the geed you just need to balance the sound ss the rear may be quite.

hi. I used a canbus adapter on to the quadlock and use the live feed that powers the aerial on to the sub feed cant remember everything at this time. my post may be in the aufio section.

Good evening guys. I have today noticed a burning rubber smell at the back of the car. Was there this morning after 5 mile journey home. And again tonight after journey to work again. Nothing noticeable on the tyre or wheel area. Any ideas on a place to start. Thanks Nige.

I used the feed from my jvc head unit that is for the aerial. Hope this helps

ok. sorry for the late reply. nights are a bummer for normal life. turns out all my problems was caused by the connects2 box. it was faulty, new one had and now every thing works including the live feed and power off when key out. thanks for all the help. i am glad i found this forum.. Nige

my first and only so far was audi in plymouth. went in to ask about bluetooth being fitted. away she went and came back with a price of £400, oh what if my car has phone prep. took my reg and came back saying pc was slow and she would call. still waiting not goos so far...

Hi the keys were in when all fitted out. will try and get a replacement lead and see what that does. starting to think a parrot would have been easier.

ok so this morning braved the rain to go out with multi meter. 12v at yellow lead. nothing at red. ran wire from yellow to red and awake it came. would not turn off and no control from steering wheel. makes me think the emulator is not working. also no sound from rear speakers. audio plugs in...

ok think i will go out with the multi meter and check for power in the leads. thanks for the help.

Hi thanks for the reply's. fuses all good both car and head unit. stereo worked fine till day i took it out no power on removal and replacement rca leads in right place i know about ipod and aux i dont use them any way. i ma sure i am missing some thing with the red sand yellow wires. sorry...

thanks for that. i thought i had a can bus emulator as part of the loom i brought. dont rearly want to turn on and off. cheers Nige
