Bet you guys are having a hoon of a time with the new cars. Always a joy and the new engines must be tasty. Enjoy gents and don't forget to pay a visit to the detailing section, you'll want to keep your pride and joys looking tip top and scratch free as possible.
Yeah, it really lifts the grime off when its been on there a few days and dried in a little. I'm actually gonna discontinue the tyre setting and just stick to a pure jet wash pressure with water. I'll just evaluate whether its still got same level of reflection etc once its been cleaned up...
Hi guys. I haven't had a chance to do another layer of wax on the car yet. Weathers not really playing ball with us at the moment.
I was just wondering, is their anything in the jetwash tyre/wheel cleaner setting that could cause the wax/sealant/polish combo do diminish slightly in effect or...
Thanks a lot joe. Really proud of my first go but so badly itching to try and take it to the next level lol. Money and patience are only just holding me back lol.
Time to go find that orbital DA polisher and some pads to use on the web. Might send Jen and the guys at PB an e-mail to find out...
Interesting to see you opted for the SE technik over the S-line model. What did you make of the difference in body kit? (*prays* there is a difference based on the fact SE has different bodykit :p)
Think it was just the way the light reflected off it + not properly buffing product off. Theres a few scratches that i'm itching to get rid of as well as eliminate pretty much all the swirl marks but got to say, its quite an improvement on what i could see before i did this.
Would say at...
Nah, the bucket just had some dark stain from when i previously used it as a rinse bucket, especially from when i got round to the wheels. On the DA front, i actually posted up here that i have an oribital polisher lying around that my father used a while back BUT i'm not sure if its suitable as...
Thanks, just takes some time, elbow grease and i would definitely advise you read up on how to do everything. The wax stage i found it best to do small sections at a time and really do apply as think a coat as possible, the stuff can dry really quick so be really quick to buff off as soon as...
Hi guys. Got a 'little' update for you. Finally got the pics onto my laptop, onto photbucket and ready to view for your pleasure.
Ok, here we go.......
First up is my attempt at snow foam. No really...it was....just not as you know it. Its called the tyre cleaner/something else on the jetwash...
Ah, looks like i'll let it bake in the sun a bit, gives midnight sun a more literal meaning lol.
I'm now on the home straight for today lol. Just the wax to apply to the car and some megs Nxt metal polysh and tyre gel for the wheels. Its been a long day but just ****** flown by cause i was so...
Ah, thanks a lot. I'm actually in the middle of doing it right now. I've just done a quick test panel to make sure i get my technique right for the sealant. I layered the EGP twice cause i rubbed on and rubbed off after a few mins when it told me on PB site you can leave it for up to 15 mins.
I...
Thanks. Just checked the weather guys and looks like i have a mostly clear run from 7am to 4pm on saturday to get the bulk of the work done before the sun comes out and i gotta see whether i still got enough shade/lack of sun to work with in my area. Sunday is looking a little worse with only...
I got them (Race glaze brush set) & whole lot from the guys at Polished Bliss apart from the Megs polysh, Autoglym SRP & Megs Interior cleaner.
Now, since i'm gonna be doing this over the weekend, i need some advice ASAP. I have the whole Blackfire Wet Ice over Fire kit, but can anybody tell me...
Check my thread out over the weekend. I just got the whole she-bang and will be doing it over the weekend. I already have a good start point lol. Threads on here, 1st page
