I had a similar problem spare tyre well was full of water. Try having a look at the seals around parking sensors on the inside of rear bumper. Had my parking sensor retro fitted at Audi and they went bad got them resealed now and no more leaks. Hope this helps someone. Audi A6 2007 2.0tdi

Thanks for the reply bald man I made the end of the dipstick white with a pen so I could see the oil level a little better. No white ion the filler cap either but there is some thick oil on the underside of the cap.
