Any idea if they can remap DSG boxes?
My car behaves quite differently in D mode than it does in paddle mode so I have a feeling it has already been mapped in the past by a previous owner.
Gear changes down are a lot smoother in paddle mode than D mode so I guess it has to be a software thing...
It seems to be luck of the draw as to whether you get a decent DSG box or not.
I have the same problems as you and have taken it to Audi a number of times. I spent £120 having them look into it and resetting the learnt values of the box but there was no difference afterwards. Audi say it's...
Deffo worth trying them

I have a thin but long scratch on my bonnet. My local bodyshop wanted £170 to respray the whole bonnet which is a bit excessive so I'll be giving them a try too
Don't get me started on my DSG issues which Audi say are normal...
I find swearing helps me get through the daily commute in my car although people probably think I'm a mentalist, which I suppose I am for getting this car :tocktock:
Seems to work fine with my 2nd gen Nano and my iphone.
Some of the newer ipods dont charge when you plug them into the cable but you can buy some other device to enable this

Didn't you feel guilty selling it knowing it wasn't right, or did you sell to a dealer? :sly:
How did everyone get on with their DSG problems? The general consensus seems to be getting the mechatronic unit replaced at a steep cost but I wonder if anyone has had their issues resolved fairly cheaply...
I went back to Audi with mine last month but it was considered to be normal whilst on...
Glad it improved things for you. I have the opposite problem to you - mine changes down gear too quick into 3rd and 2nd resulting in some nasty engine braking. It's equivalent to applying the brakes too hard and being lunged forward.
Audi checked it and they seem to think this is normal but I...
I had Audi do the following for me back in Feb:
"Carried out re set of learned values and carried out basic settings for clutches and gear actuator"
What are you hoping to achieve with your reset?
I was trying to improve the responsiveness and smoothness of the ride but I can't say it made...
That's good to know he has resolved people's issues.
I wrote a 2 page letter to customer services last week and they replied saying they cannot look into my complaint as my car is not registered to me on their system. This is despite the car having gone into their workshop and me giving them...
