How do I remove Quattro badge from front grille?

Hello For some reason, the Quattro badge on my front grille is in a rather strange place, too close to the bumper and on the wrong side to all other Audis. I want to remove it and reposition it but not sure how. I think it is mounted on clips but it seems very firm. Any ideas. I...

How to drive the 3.0 TDI for best performance?

Thanks Necroscope. Yeah, although I have been wondering if I have an intermittent boost problem. This morning it felt like the turbo was not working, such was the feeling of underpower. Yet when I drove it this afternoon it threw me back in my seat agressively! If I have a boost problem this...

How to drive the 3.0 TDI for best performance?

Hi, Having always had petrol cars I am still getting used to the diesel. Just got my 3.0 TDI Quattro. I just love the "shove in the back" feeling of the diesel, but it does seem to vary and I can't work out why. I'm sure the car is fine, it's down to my driving and still learning...

Replacement of Sat Nav / MMI screen?

Great, thanks for the replies. I checked with Audi and a replacement is over £800! That ebay listing looks OK but I will check with Audi about compatibility, I'm not sure how they can offer the same part for £295?! Plus I need someone to fit it. Cheers.

Replacement of Sat Nav / MMI screen?

Hi, I am back in the world of Audi ownership after 2.5 years of BMW ownership. I used to have an S3 until 2007, jumped ship to a 330i, beautiful car but no fun. I missed the turbo quattro combo. Just bought a 2 years old Audi A4 3.0 TDI Quattro. Simply stunning drive. One question...

    Missfire!

Mine did, the management light flashed and it was impossible to get over about 25mph. The car felt very ill indeed, but new coil packs fixed it.

    Missfire!

Hope it's not stating the obvious, but could it be coil packs?

    Goodbye S3

Build quality is amazing. So was the S3. Can't call it either way really. Obviously feels a lot more modern in the cabin and has all the toys (the S3 was standard spec). I find it's black BMW drivers that drive like ***** [I mean black cars not black drivers!]

    I fancy a new S3

You can't argue with the new S3 performance and they look nicer than standard A3s. They are very pricey at the moment though.

    Goodbye S3

I did p-ex the S3. I got £10,000. It was due a service and needed two new tyres so really happy with that. I also got a grand discount on the new motor so all in all I think I got a fantastic deal, particularly as this was all through a main dealer. When I got the S3 three years ago, it was...

    Goodbye S3

For sure, it has very different characteristics than FWD/4WD, but our hedgerows and ditches are not exactly littered with fallen BMWs. But I am taking things easy as it's my first RWD. I found this article quite interesting: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rear-wheel_drive Cheers

    Goodbye S3

The S3 has gone, sniff sniff :blownose:. Replaced by a superb BMW 330i M Sport Saloon 2006, with all the toys :). Completely different drive to the S3, acceleration is smooth rather than the S3 turbo shove (I'll miss that) . I've loved every minute of the S3. I'll pop back here from time...

    Deal or no Deal?

Private or trade? If private, I would say it's slightly high, should be below £10K. If trade, probably OK.

    Selling S3...maybe

I think £11K is about right, possibly a few hundred higher. I've just part-ex'd mine for £11,000 ... although it's impossible to say how much was really part-ex and how much was discount on the new car.
