Update
Taking apart things today I discovered the engine mount bracket was loosely connected to the block, upon inspection the top right bolt has snapped inside the block and the top left, where the bolt threads in has completely snapped the bolt doesn’t even screw in anymore.. so I have one...
I need to have a proper look tomorrow, I don’t think anything is loose because the timing belt feels tight like no slack at all.
Do you think the timing belt is toast? Or re used able? It’s been done not to long ago.
It’s touching the engine mount some how? It’s made a mark on it.. it was done about 6months ago and it’s started running out of no where do you think I could maybe take it apart and put back together without needing to buy a whole new kit?
so I was just trying to fix my door as I can’t open it from the inside.. only the outside.. so I was fiddling around and found out the wire has snapped so I removed it to try and sort it and now my electric windows won’t work.. or the central locking or my keyfob.. strangely my wing mirrors...
Yes I’ve considered one I’m just short on funds right now all the other pipes seem fine just that one pipe splits.. when the engine is hot it feels really flimsy.. don’t suppose you know the diameter of that pipe?
so the pcv pipe that connect to the inlet mani and the t piece has split twice in 24hours wtf each time I’ve had to cut a piece off and connect it again.. I don’t under stand why it keeps splitting it’s only a few months old..
What do I do? Get a silicone pipe to replace it?
so I had to remove my lower dash under the steering wheel.. as I have a new key cut as I lost my last one.. but the guy left big gaps in the trim where he failed to refit correctly.. so I removed it easily enough took about 10minutes but I can’t refit it for the life of me, literally been trying...
No didn’t because I didn’t have spring compressors.. but I bought the coilovers second hand so literally it was altogether so just walked it straight on the car
I have Powerflex top mounts which come with coilovers they have been making this noise since putting coilovers on the noise has recently become more noticeable
Yeah I see your point but that’s also a lot more money.. but surely stage 2 is worth it with like 70 ft lbs increase with bolt on mods,, also id need to change my rods for a ko4 update?
