We specced the ***. After test driving a model without it we knew we couldn't live with 'that' sound. It was almost as bad as the standard 1-series setup.

We have the standard MMI with Nav enabled and although it does the job perfectly well the larger and higher res screen is a lot nicer to look at. The smaller screen looks a little 'crowded' when using the Nav but it still does the job just fine, that said next time we will be going for the tech...

Very easy if you're handy, a pal did mine, he ramped the car and just removed the full tray/cover from under the car, giving very easy access. You can also go in through the arch as Trups advises but I think this might be a little more awkward having seen it done the other way. Good Luck

Thanks for the info, don't think it will affect us as we never use them for driving, it was purely cosmetic when unlocking the car :)

Would that require much use for that to happen? They will never be used as foglights here, we simply didn't like the colour of them when unlocking the car and they come on as courtesy lights.

less brighter IMO :) no glare if you stand in front like the standard bulbs

Thanks for your replies guys, to be honest we don't want to use them as fog lights as such, even when it is foggy we prefer to just use the dipped beam. But the currently bulbs look a bit unsightly when you unlock the car next to the LED brows. t8ups where can I buy them from you and are they...

Can anyone confirm the type of bulb required for the fog lights in a s line sportback please? Different website yield different results. cheers M

I don't think you will regret it Bob, we have just come from a 1 series on 18's with run flats and M-Sport Suspension, it really is like floating on air in comparison. The only negative I have about it is the front can be a little 'bouncy' maybe due to the engine placement and weight...
