Nice one guys. I managed to get/order brand new Eagle F1's x4, £400 including fiiting and balancing from a local back street tyre place. Just for the record KwikFit quoted £550 and Blackcircle £424 incl fitting etc. I cant see it getting much cheaper than £400. Not bad I thinks.

I may look into wheel conversion in the new year, unless I come across the TT 18x9j rims at a seriously low price. Hopefuly somebody else may do the conversion to set of trend as not yet seen any pics of these on an s3. Thanks again, this has been educational.

I had two go on mine last month. Im not a mechanic but managed to change all four myself saving on labour charges. I had it serviced last wk at midland vw and was informed it is always best to change them all to be on the safe side.
