fault found, after reading s3louds post on here i was able to find it was the earthing strap.

ive been having the same problem and after reading this tread i narrowed it down to an electrical fault then looked under car for earthing wire touched it and it came away in my hands. so thanks you lot for helping me and many others find the faults without getting your **** ripped out by a garrage

aftermarket alloys and the dodgy garage who sold me them just used the orig bolts instead of longer ones

it was the cv joints, which i bought a recon/new set for 30 quid and fitted myself in 3 hours after a garage wanted £200 to fit!!!!

One was a dealer code and the other I don't remember but the las used a snap on reader to diagnose it

Cheers nick ,Ive just had it mapped this week what should I say to the guy about sorting it out?

Also the problem only happens when car is upto 90 deg and there is a problem with the mapped cooling sensor themostat intermitant which it had before the map

Supertuning.co.uk didd the remap but he sent the map to a guy in york who was a soecialist in vag tuning ,also how much is a dv should I get a forge one and where from

An update, I've married it down to fault in the remap, maf , dv dirty or faulty, tb dirty ,checked most of the hoses and they look fine.

have an intermitent fault with no boost and this is the fault it came up with ,anyone know what i should be looking for as im a novice with these engines.
