I too would be very keen to get an update on this, I’m currently in the market for a s4/s5/rs3/c43 amg but would love the rs4. My man maths is saying 27mpg is the same running costs as my discovery 4 which wouldn’t stop me buying another discovery!
I’m still new to biking. Does anyone use all year rider to treat their bikes- acf50 etc? Think it’s £70 or so for a full detailed clean and treatment.
Or do you just do it your self?
My a6 came with uniroyal rain/sharkskin tyres- not my choice but still good tread. Now I live in Aberdeenshire in a wee village and I had no problems with the snow and ice! I won’t buy these tyres again as I prefer 4season tyres but either they are great in snow or my allroad is just a beast.

Yamaha ybr125.............. I’m still learning. Planning on direct access course in the spring/late winter, then a sensible ninja 300 for a wee while before jumping to a Daytona 600
Yeah I like the triumphs- I hear conflicting stories about reliability occasionally- I will probs buy an older one hence the 600 as I don’t want an expensive first ‘big’ bike.
My wife plans on a street triple or a bonniville after the ninja
Can’t get f1’s at £79 a tyre for my a6- it’s got 245/45/18. The uniroyal’s seem to doing the job so far - not my choice but hey ho.
Pain in the *** choosing tyres- sporty s3 is easy choice. Family a6 , which doesn’t get thrown into corners, harder choice ironically
Been learning for a year with my wife- planning on our direct access at the end of winter. We’ve just been learning on a Yamaha ybr-125
Can’t wait to pass, will go sensible first with a ninja 250/300 then I want a Daytona 600
Slight thread revival- been away from Audi for 2 years
So I have bought an a6 3.0di Quattro.
My previous car - Volvo v70- was on Goodyear Vector 4Seasons- great tyres. Currently my a6 isn’t needing tyres...... yet but 245/45/18 vectors are coming in at £170 a tyre whereas eagle f1s are...
hi
I'm planning on changing my car -a3 2.0t. Planning on also getting a caravan so the newer car needs to be able to tow the caravan/loaded car/family & dog etc. naturally this makes me go down the diesel route and that would've been fine a couple of years ago but now every damn diesel has a...
