Gap is tiny, i can get a bit of corrogated cardboard between it. If I put 5mm spacers on from halfords would I need longer bolts too?

Hi Aragorn, The old 225 tyres had an offset of 35 - The new ones !!! are 235 and ET45, which according to a website means they are about 15mm closer to the suspension! A bit too close I think. Do you know of anyone running 17" 235 45 with an offset of 45 on a B5 A4 with or without spacers?
