well i decided against going through the insurance,bought a replacement set of seats as the old ones smelt very strong of petrol,bought another satnav to replace the one nicked and generaly just a big clean up,no body damage apart from a couple of light scratches so over all things werent as bad...

yes,from the front i think.mine comes out if i put my fimgers under the switch as if to send both windows up and apply a bit more lift!!!

take out the window switches and theres a torx screw in there

think the worst part isnt actualy having it nicked but more not knowing where it is,i had actualy been considering putting a tracker on it for a few weeks and had been considering the ones on the market looking at cost effective ones without the high maintenance charges,just bought one now ready...

all things taken into consideration then yes i want it back,hopefully with no or little damage,if i can avoid making a claim even better.i know the car inside out so will have a good idea if its been thrashed,a good thrashing may actualy have done the engine a bit of good as i have never revved...

well the police have called,cars been located in stockport,been used for a armed robbery then doused in petrol but not ignited,cant see what/if any damage untill socco has finished with it but i am hopefull that its salvageable.

alternatively just put it on ebay,i would think you would get a lot more than £750 for it.

that will be my radar detector,kept my license nice and clean ;-) the other knob is the coming home light timer. i was particular in choosing this colour because of the interior although i am sure the colour appearance changes,sometimes its grey and at other times it looks beige.the originals...
