APU is a B5 A4 engine code. 1.8T with k03. Similar to the later engines in the S3 and A3 that it has 20mm pins, ME7.5, wideband and VVT. How suitable it is for an APY engine would be similar as transplanting an AMK or BAM into it I’d guess, providing it’s pointing the right way of course.

Use M12 threaded bar. Preferably something that’s a little stronger than normal galvanised bar as the threads strip easily. I tried M8 galv and it didn’t do jack except strip the threads, bought some m12 high tensile for a few quid and it was a piece of cake!
