hi i have a 2004 a6 tiptronic 130 tdi c5model...my problems are as soon as i turn the ignition on the fuel gauge jumps straight up to the half way mark as i put fuel in it rises up accordingly and when it goes back down to half way mark the yellow low fuel warning light will light up...

there are generally some on ebay in car spares in audi a6 section or try ebay breakers....reading on forums if you get right one it will need coding with vag com ??? good luck hope you get it sorted

had loud cluncking noises. when going over bumps on my 2004 tdi a6 .after reading threads for front knocking on audi sports i took it to mechanic. who found the problem to be the retaining clips on the back of my brake pads had broken off making the rear pad rattle and the sound amplify...

try a joiner/or get a solid piece of wood and lay good wheel on top .mark around radious and jig saw out to make a jig .then carry on with plastic or hide mallet

try and find a local fabrication shop or local engineering shop .who should sort you out with some plate and mig weld your hitch on. one of the lads may do it for bit of beer money in his lunch time....hope this helps p/s if you dont ask you wont get
