BEST RS3 REPLICA EVER!

What the...? This made me lol, a lot. God knows how he justifies it being an RS3 rep to himself, I'd imagine its something along the lines of 'my car interior, and the tyres contain the exact same air as a RS3 does, thus I drive a RS3' excuse me a moment while I put my Bugatti veyron rep in...

    Fitting a ITG CAI on a S3

No problem! It will be much easier when it's not dark - you're guaranteed to drop a clip or screw into the abyss if you try it in the dark, that's usual case for me anyway lol.

    Fitting a ITG CAI on a S3

Took me about an hour to do mine, a steady plod at that, sipping tea and yapping to mates etc. The turbo inlet wasn't too bad, if you have flexy or pivot sockets its a breeze. It gets a bit right around the filter cone / last bend area and its worth taking the time to position the clips for max...

I find them great to deal with, theyre always happy to answer any questions an certainly know their stuff. A top bunch of guys. The only drawback...

    wing mirrors stolen

Hope the police resolve this for you either way, these scroats need their just rewards. Seems they like the nice bits off our cars as they attract good money (at least in a smack heads view). I know they shouldn't put us off mods but they're the reason I haven't fitted rnse and other nice...

    S3 servicing and oil query

If it helps I've just booked in my 59 s3 manual, for the same 40k service etc with Nottingham Audi, it's on fixed price and of the top of my head it was £329 for the major service, that included fluids, filters, plugs and pollen filter, brake fluid change £59, haldex change was £79, mot £49 that...

Not getting up to temp, driving me nuts!

I think you're not getting what I was trying to explain to the op 16klappe, obviously if he's running miles off on the temps, or the car is running cool constantly there's an issue. I was trying to point out that there will be variations in temp - the stat is designed to open and close at...

Not getting up to temp, driving me nuts!

One other thing to check maybe is the rad / expansion cap is holding a good seal, remove it (when engines cold) and check for any swollen rubber gaskets etc, then with the cap pn and car at working temp listen for any leaking air, if there's any pressure loss that would effect it, under pressure...

Not getting up to temp, driving me nuts!

Sounds like its nothing to worry about to me, the temp will naturally fluctuate due to the cooler air temps and when you're travelling faster there's more cool air flowing in. The thermostat will open at a set temp for example 98c then close at say 80c, so if you're watching the gauge like a...

    Wiper Blades

Last ones I bought for the s3 were from Tps, genuine blades cost about 27 quid or so, think rear was about 8 quid.

    A1 Quattro 2.0T 252PS Limited Edition

I had the S3 to the dealers today, and there was one of these in the showroom, looked great apart from its 41k price tag lol. Sytner Nottingham if anyone's interested in drooling over one :)

    Hi all! Another new guy

Thanks :) I had intended to leave it standard, but I think it will more than likely end up modded lol.
Wish list would be - decent intake system, replacement down pipe and cat or maybe even full system, h&r springs (as long as it doesn't kill the ride quality!), hpfp and...

    Hi all! Another new guy

Well, I was at shark having cruise retrofitted and couldn't resist having it mapped. After talking it over with the guys at shark I got exactly what they told me I would, it's a much smoother map with no huge spike in power and doesn't run out of puff now above 5k, they really have it nailed if...

    Hi all! Another new guy

Hi all, Ive been lurking in the shadows and reading all the great info on the forums, it's a goldmine of info on here. I recently decided to go the Audi route for my daily driver as I'd had a little brain lapse and bought a corsa Vxr as a commuter mobile last year, utter rubbish lol never...
