the frustrating thing is when i picked it up from amd and drove it home again seemed fine plenty of boost,high revs had gone.just plenty of boost and from low down in the rev range.surely another pipe couldnt have gone in that six weeks
in june took the car to amd cos it was loosing boost.they replaced the turbo hose and diverter valve and for six weeks the car has run well.or so i thought as my wife drives it most of the time.the other day i gave it welly and the car seems all revs and hardly any boost again.im hoping this is...
audi have long since owned up that the pre-facelift cars had 225 bhp from the outset. they wanted to encourage people to buy their new sports car the audi tt and so implied the tt had the edge power wise
dont think there is anyone nearby.its not a big problem at the moment and i dont use the car for work.it just puts some doubt in your mind when thinking of using the car for long journeys.irritating when your cars not running smoothly.maybe another trip to amd then
went to amd essex yesterday had some boost problems.had a new forge diverter fitted,new turbo hose as the old one was perished.they also found another hose had split under the manifold.what a difference all this has made to the car.feels like it did when i first had it tuned at mrc.still got one...
need a few parts for my s3 and since vagparts isnt trading anymore i am a bit stumped.need an n75 valve and a new diverter valve.i have a boost leak and these parts are a bit old now.i know the boost leak could be in the hoses but i want to replace them anyway for peace of mind.live in the essex...
i know you must be hurting right now this sort of thing never comes at a good time.but if you are going to spend your hard earned dosh on a rebuild and sort the cambelt and waterpump.you should if at all financially possibe stick with this car.why spend all that cash getting the car properly...
