Well, my comment about the tyres being OK was wrong. I checked them this morning and they were 2 PSI down all round. Pumped 'em up and everything seems OK now. I think the dampers are on the way anyway so might change them, thanks for the replies.

Aren't they 16" rims on your motor?? Just a thought. As for tyres, I'm using Dunlop Sport 01's all round and they seem OK, a lot of people, with different makes of car, go for Goodyear GSD's.

Right, I've had a go with WD40 and its still the same. The problem seems to be overcoming the steering lock, after that its fine.

Thanks for the replies, I think I'll have a go at both starting with the cheapest and easiest and then maybe going for a new barrel.

I'm having problems on mine with the ignition barrel. Its really stiff in a morning and is a pig to start the car. Anyone got any quick fixes or tips for replacement?? Thanks in advance
