Had my 59 plate 2 months now, done 4000 miles and averaged 46mpg. That's my own calc.

Impressive figures. Current tank says 110 miles left, 589 covered.

170 is a thirsty car, but if you drive it sensibly i used to get 650 miles from a tank!

They do seem to be dragging heels now. Friend of a friend got his 1 year old Scriocco stolen, same scenerio and was paid out within 3.5 weeks.
