    Hi. Have a 2008 A4 saloon with 7 speed CVT. Getting about 42MPG on a run taking it easy. That's mainly MW miles. Anyone else have figures to compare? Thanks

    Crank case oil seal could have been damaged when the clutch and flywheel were changed?

    Sounds like over - boost. The big boom could have been the hose popping off the intercooler. The car then over fuels leading to the white smoke. AA man fixed mine with a new hose (worn metal fitting) new clips and a self tapping screw!

    Car drives perfectly and changes gear from 1-7 with no issues. When accelerating gently the car drops from 7th to fifth. If you release the accelerator the car should change up 5-6-7 again but stays in fifth like its forgotten it has more gears. If you put it in manual and back to Drive it...
