Last week my wipers stopped working totally. I got near home, and had to stop at a garage to clear the windscreen. I turned off the engine and got some cloth etc, when I re-started they worked just fine! Any ideas what may have happened? Thanks Lapchien

Slightly different issue, but on the same theme - how often should it be changed? My 06 3.2 has never had a change, it's done 32K now ...

I've searched for this but can't find an easy answer. I'm taking my 06 3-door with Xenons to Italy in August and I want to know if the lights can be swung to the right to save using those horrible little conversion stickers (they get very very hot when on the light and they look sh1t as well).

Whenever I start up my A3 I get the navigation display in the DIS, and I have to click it over 3 times to get back to the 'normal' temp, miles remaining etc display. Can you set the DIS so that it displays this latter view by default, instead of the NAV each time? Thanks Lapchien

Can anyone describe how to replace the rear wiper blade? Seems pretty tight and if I pull any harder I'm sure I'll bust something...

Paid £76 for each lamp. Easy change (and good practice for when I need to change a bulb anyway!). I miss the auto-dipping/dimming interiror mirror I had on my last A3, this one only has the standard one with the flick-switch underneath it, so will probably get that done next. I didn't care...

Been an expensive week - 2nd variable service at Audi Birmingham, followed by 2 new F1's on the front. So, after longing after them for a while I decided to fit some new model rear lights to my 06 3.2 - they look gorgeous compared to the old ones!

Good thread, I was going to get F1's but am reconsidering now!

My front 2 need replacing, there's 6 months left on the rears, do I need to replace all 4 at once, or can I do the 2 fronts now and the rear 2 in a few months? Thanks Lapchien

I've been thinking about putting the new rear lights on my 3dr 3.2 for a while now - it's taken a while to try to figure out the difference between the pre and post facelift rears, but now I know I can see that they are so much nicer. The comments regarding the simple fitting of these means...

I did have to get some headlight beam converters and stick them on to the glass, however I think that there is a vagcom adjustment that can be made in order to flip them over to the other side - anyone done this?

On the last stage of my trip I drove for 12 hours back from Kitzbuhel in Austria back to Birmingham. Can't believe how much it has affected my wrist, it's so strained just by holding it on the one place.

Had my 3.2 for a few months now, just got back from driving it down to Italy and back, through the Alps and right up to the max on the autobahn :sign_omg: Perfect drive - didn't miss a beat. Just perfect. Anyone else drive on the continent?
