I have had the V3 for about 2 years in a LHD car without any issues. I trimmed the turbo end a bit. The pipes are touching the tip but I'm not too concerned about that, have not checked for any wear tho.

Have you checked the pipe connections for leaks? On my previous car (A3 AGU) the pump's circuit got damaged due to moisture, I just swapped the the pump with an identical unit. I do not recall that any coding was involed. Some pumps are backwards compatible, but don't remember which ones.

Thanks Tuffty. In the end I found cheap one here, just didn't know any common name for this adapter. Do you think that it is possible to combine/solder the CD changer's wires with the bt's wires, so that both the cd changer and bt are operational? Or am I just going to blow a fuse? :) I think...

Hi, does this "wastegate creep" happen with K03/K04 turbos? So that some boost pressure is lost before the target is achieved? I thought that N75 does not let air to waste gate before target pressure. I could be wrong though.

Took a look under the scuttle panel yesterday, and found out that I didn't have an electrical alarm unit, but a plain horn like siren. It was properly plugged in, so I unplugged it and cleaned the contacts and sprayed some contact cleaner. To my amazement the alarm started working :) Also coded...

Found some reasonably priced 160mAh Ni-Mh batteries from Europe here. I'm gonna try my luck with them.

I don't have good knowledge of batteries, but is it ok/safe to use different types of rechargeable cells? Like Li-ion or Ni-Cd. The OEM spec Ni-Mh batteries are expensive and hard to find. I think my alarm unit is busted anyways, as I haven't heard a single beep during my ownership.

Got my car back from the garage today. Koni FSD dampers were installed with the pro-kit springs. The kit did include the rubber pads. My OEM pads were in solid condition, I suppose they were changed at some point. One of the OEM front springs had also snapped, so that's 3/4 of the springs gone...
