Hi Had a similar issue with my TDi, turns out it was just my radiator, £160 fitted, problem sorted.

Hi Mark22 The aerial is built in to the rear screen and is around a foot in length, it feeds into an aerial booster module which is located under the top piece of screen trim, this is a common problem and is easy to replace albiet an expensive one (around a £100 from Audi i think). JR

Hi Jonesy Looks like a bread and butter job for a smart repair technician, a job like that would take less than two hours to prepare and paint at a rough cost of £70.

Just checked out ebay and bought myself a seal for £2.95 & £1.25 p+p. Why cant Audi sell such a part, :blackrs4:its no wonder the dealers get such a bad name.

Correct,its an avant. So was it an easy repair and how much did you have to pay for the seal, the reason i ask is that Audi have quoted me £140 which is for the complete aerial. I think they must be having a laugh.:blackrs4:

Does anyone Know the correct procedure for removing the headlining to gain access to the aerial,my sealing gasket has perished and needs replaced,Is it glued to the roof or is it clips etc. :blackrs4:

ive already tried removing the two screws but before the panel can come off, the handles and electrics need to be removed,the question i have is how to remove these without distorting any of the trim.

Hi folks can anyone please please tell me how i can remove the interior trim on the drivers door of my a6 avant (53 plate), i need to get in to either clean repair or replace the lock barrel so that i can re-program my key fob, but looking at the door there seems to be a lack of obvious access...

Thanks for the info Might just take this motorised intake flap apart,im curious to see what has gone wrong with it. Worst case is £200 for a replacement.All connections etc have been checked .
