Don't think I will be going with coilovers, just springs. It seems like a total waste of money to go with coilovers on a car that is being built for just cruising and looks. If it had a big engine and was a power build coilovers would be a definate choice.
Weitec and some other manufacturers...
If you do go for the 2.5 engine I think I have a plug in module in stock for that which will give you more power and MPG. If it is still in stock you can have it for £100 plus shipping. It's a DPT unit so would normally retail for over £350!
Thanks for the offer, but I think I am going to go for a set of Weitec springs with a 50mm front drop and 30mm rear. This will give me 30mm lower at the front and just 10mm on the back which will be perfect and just sit the arches at the very top of the tyre (I hope!!!).
Does anyone know how much lower than standard the Sport suspension set up is on the B6? I think it is 20mm, but I might be wrong. I need to know so Ican make sure I chose the right lowering springs as with the 20x10 rear there is not a lot of space under the arch!!!!
You need a VI Monitor if you want to see this sort of data and a lot more. The VI Monitor is much bigger, with a better UI and works on any OBDII vehicle. We have 2 in stock at the monent and they are on special at £200 inc VAT and delivery (RRP £350!!!).

Errrr, effing yes!!!! Are they RS arches, they don't look like they are, the rears do not flow into the back doors from what I can see. If not RS arches are they aftermarket and if so where can I get a set!!!!
The ride is stiffer obviously, but not too harsh. Just need to avoid pot holes!!! It will get a little stiffer again once gthe suspension gets done, but I am willing to live with it.
Hi Guys
Just thought I would post up some pics of the current project. The rims are on, the rears didn't really want to go on but they went on with a little work. I am still considering a wide arch conversion of some sort, but I don't want an RS4 rep (I hate cars that look like something they...
I will have some pics of a red B5 RS4 Avant with black Pro Race on in about 2 weeks as I have a set on order for one of my customers. Once I have the pics I will post them up for you.
Both the fronts and the rears wil go on. The rears will be close and you will need to run a stretched tyre to squeeze them under, something like a 235/40/18 should do it. You might also need to take the rear arch liners out to stop rubbing, apart from that you should be ok. The wheels will...
