  • Yeah iv had the DPF "gutted" so opened, stripped out and welded up, better than spending money on a new downpipe. I have a common rail 2010 140bhp 2.0tdi A3 - is this not what you have? You must have the CR as you have a DPF, these are only fitted to the CR engines. Mine is a custom map not a standard REVO flash map, but having said that REVO would be able to do the EGR Delete code. What do you do for a living then? (sorry I only ask as I recruit in the Oil & Gas industry!) Im sure there are plenty of decent tuning garages in Manc or Abz. Open a thread on here or search to see if anyone else has asked before?

    Hi,

My girlfriends brother is a mechanica and works at Regal Autosport in Southampton. There is a guy who works there who also runs his own car tuning garage from home (has a custom built garage in the back, ramps etc.. builds and tunes cars all the time)

Hes a good friend of mine and I explained wha I wanted doing and he simply did it. He gutted the DPF rather than putting a straight pipe in (so upon MOT visual inspection it looks like the DPF is still there) and did the EGR blank. He also then remapped the car all for £500 all in.

The map is incredible, similar cars have seen gains of 40-60bhp and over 100lb torque. It is so smooth throughout the gears and pulls hard in any gear.

    Where abouts do you live?
