    B4 Bilsteins and other work!

Barkclark, im running the B4's with H&R 45mm springs, and i also changed the top mounts front and rear whilst this was done with new. The car is tight with a firm ride. The B4's are the OEM replacment shock but are much better in quality in the important areas. I can reconmend what i have...

    Finally...Bilstein B4's and H&R's fitted..

So, after about two months of the H&R (45mm) springs sitting in the office I finally got the car fitted with B4's, new bump stops and new top mounts front and rear. The ride is so much better. I think the front is a little too low for me but I can live with it. The car has settled a lot more...

    What's it worth roughly??

Thats made me chuckle james ;) i reckon 50p and a packet of cheesy puffs thrown in for good measure would cover it.. ;) But seriously the advice above about selling for parts is the best bet more than likely...

    18's or 19's on your B6????

I was running 19' RS4 reps but due to me travelling 600 miles a weekend, these were just not ideal, so I purchased some genuine 18' Ronal 5 arm (RS6) wheels. So much better ride quality and looks better IMO :) all depends on your views and travelling mate :)

    timing belt

As Dan as said, and i'm the same , 60k max for me too so i work on the rule of every 4 years or every 60k whatever comes first and your car is a B7 chassis model :)

    Short shift kits

I can't help with the ebay ones, but i run the Neuspeed Shortshifter and Bubstar runs the Stratosphere Shortshifter, buts these are fairly expensive but cracking at what they do. Iirc the Neuspeed kit was over £100. HTH :)

    KandN or Pipercross filter

I run a BMC panel filter, have only used BMC in my previous cars also and they are spot on. Extremely good quality. I take mine out every 6k or so and give it a clean and pop it back in. :)
